..updates for my Meri

Oh my mama! I have not written to you in a while but it doesn’t mean anything…How do you like my blog? Do you know what a blog means? Hahaha! Now our ka book is going to rest for a while, nkyihangiise blog egi, manya nanye nibwo ngigwiireho...Thanks to being idle! OK, also so much is going on in my world…I only wanted to take care of things first. . .with not much luck yet and I have decided to give it all up God. Mama, please talk to Him for me, I badly need those three Prayers answered…you both know it all!
Everyone is well; we miss you every single day. We were home the other weekend; you know it has never been the same without you my Meri… We talked so much about you, Edson, Karingi and Taata. I always imagine how amazing it would be if all of you were here with us? Hmmm...Ruhanga ogu!  We miss you guys soooo much! What you started was finally completed and now baptized; it is all beautiful, you must be proud! At least I am! Meanwhile, can you imagine, it’s not possible with Anglicans to name churches after ladies? Talk about gender insensitivity! We wanted St. Mary’s C.O.U but they jammed and instead we named it after Taata, it’s also good…kwonka you know how hard you worked to start it! It went well.
Hoooooo...and then there was drama! I know you would have stopped me from laughing but I swear it was hilarious! All your friends, the church elders (bakuru ba bakuristayo) were repenting their sins in front of us, the bishop, the full to capacity church and they were saying it as is. Ha ha ha…bambi let me tell you the story, no? Ok, let me also stop laughing but…

The kids are all so grown; the youngest is Adam who is 4 months. Oh he is ka cute bambi…the hair is truly the grandma’s!  Meanwhile do you know how old you would be today? Hehehe…
My birthday Mama, my dear ones did their part to bless me and I appreciate but Mama, I wish you were here with me, one of your squashy bear hugs would make me feel all better:)

It’s 7/11. Remember what I wrote to you same time last year, on what happened that night in Kampala? Yes. So there are Prayers being held for the victims and the deceased. It is sad. Uganda has changed for the worst Mama, everything is so wrong. Lots of demonstrating, the cost of living is beyond affordable, if the shops are not closed, it’s the taxis on strike or there is 24 hours load shedding or something even worse…We need your Prayers even more.
And it is also another year without you my Meri; do you still pray for me and your bu other children? We are lost without your prayers, we are not anything without the Lord’s love and Favor…you know it all mama.  I treasure every memory I hold of you.  I know time does pass but you are always with me.  The ideas you held, the values you instilled in us and the examples you set. You are always with me my mama! All our love to everyone else. We love and miss you much . . . Muaah! Till I write again. Mama, please nudge God for meJ xo
