Updates for my Meri

Hello my Mamama...how are you? mureire muta? i pray you are all well. naitwe tureiregye with lots of excitment...guess what, you have a new grand daughter, Savannah! She is the most beautiful ka infant i have ever held! I know how much she has missed having you in her life, your love, your everything...arrgghh!

Kwonka have you noticed the name?hmmm...you know how much her parents love nature...your daughter being a Conservationist and son-in-law a Natural Scientist, the name doesnt surprise us much.
So turyaho...nitukwata mpora mpora...everyone is involved. Her dad and grandma were also here for about a week. I was blessed to have them over at my ka house for bed and breakfast...i learnt a little of Maa; a baby is enkarai, to stop is tapala etc. I bonded with one of my guests (you know the social child i am..) Our last evening together, she was wondering why she had not seen/met my significant other....
My response: there is none yet...
Her: why? Are you rejecting them bse of a check-list? and there was a whole lecture that followed...So in the next updates i might be telling the tale of an Olugulului prince:|| What do you think Mama?

Thank you for your endless prayers Mamama, we are all managing well....although it would have been perfect if you were here. We continue to miss you guys so much. And we love you all endlessly! Til i write again...Muaah!

Updates for my Meri

Hello my Mamama, how are you? how is everyone? aah we miss you guys burizooba!
thanks for nudging God for me, He answered one of my Prayers! I am soo thankful. He has given me direction and guidance, i am speechless Mama! You know how i enjoy good things but on a silver plater?hehehe oba who doesn't? Mama you used to make it look like i was the only one in the whole wide world! Ahaaa.. Mu Life Eno! (i think by now even the ka little Luganda i had taught you went through the window. . .i should post a new word for you everyday, no? Now you are not soo busy Mama, you can learn. tikwo?) So far so good, it is giving me so much joy and for that i am grateful. Naiwe munyebarize:)

I was with Hannah on friday and she insisted i listen to her new music collection ( who listens to country music on a friday evening?) under duress because i did not have much up my sleeve anyway, i listened. My favorite but sad was Wish you were here by Mark Wills. Made me think of you guys. . .and how beautiful Heaven must be.
Keep Praying for us...we love and miss you guys so much! Muaah! till i write again.

Below is the song;

They kissed goodbye at the terminal gate
She said, "You're gonna be late if you don't go"
He held her tight, said, "I'll be alright
I'll call you tonight to let you know"
He bought a postcard, on the front it just said Heaven
With a picture of the ocean and the beach
And the simple words he wrote her
Said he loved her and they told her
How he'd hold her if his arms would reach

Wish you were here, wish you could see this place
Wish you were near, I wish I could touch your face
The weather's nice, it's paradise
It's summertime all year and there's some folks we know
They say, "Hello, I miss you so, wish you were here"

She got a call that night but it wasn't from him
It didn't sink in right away, ma'am the plane went down
Our crews have searched the ground
No survivors found she heard him say
But somehow she got a postcard in the mail
That just said Heaven with a picture of the ocean and the beach
And the simple words he wrote her
Said he loves and they told her
How he'd hold her if his arms would reach

Wish you were here, wish you could see this place
Wish you were near, I wish I could touch your face
The weather's nice, it's paradise
It's summertime all year and there's some folks we know
They say, "Hello, I miss you so, wish you were here"

The weather's nice, in paradise
It's summertime all year and all the folks we know
They say, "Hello, I miss you so, wish you were here"
Wish you were here.

..updates for my Meri

Oh my mama! I have not written to you in a while but it doesn’t mean anything…How do you like my blog? Do you know what a blog means? Hahaha! Now our ka book is going to rest for a while, nkyihangiise blog egi, manya nanye nibwo ngigwiireho...Thanks to being idle! OK, also so much is going on in my world…I only wanted to take care of things first. . .with not much luck yet and I have decided to give it all up God. Mama, please talk to Him for me, I badly need those three Prayers answered…you both know it all!
Everyone is well; we miss you every single day. We were home the other weekend; you know it has never been the same without you my Meri… We talked so much about you, Edson, Karingi and Taata. I always imagine how amazing it would be if all of you were here with us? Hmmm...Ruhanga ogu!  We miss you guys soooo much! What you started was finally completed and now baptized; it is all beautiful, you must be proud! At least I am! Meanwhile, can you imagine, it’s not possible with Anglicans to name churches after ladies? Talk about gender insensitivity! We wanted St. Mary’s C.O.U but they jammed and instead we named it after Taata, it’s also good…kwonka you know how hard you worked to start it! It went well.
Hoooooo...and then there was drama! I know you would have stopped me from laughing but I swear it was hilarious! All your friends, the church elders (bakuru ba bakuristayo) were repenting their sins in front of us, the bishop, the full to capacity church and they were saying it as is. Ha ha ha…bambi let me tell you the story, no? Ok, let me also stop laughing but…

The kids are all so grown; the youngest is Adam who is 4 months. Oh he is ka cute bambi…the hair is truly the grandma’s!  Meanwhile do you know how old you would be today? Hehehe…
My birthday Mama, my dear ones did their part to bless me and I appreciate but Mama, I wish you were here with me, one of your squashy bear hugs would make me feel all better:)

It’s 7/11. Remember what I wrote to you same time last year, on what happened that night in Kampala? Yes. So there are Prayers being held for the victims and the deceased. It is sad. Uganda has changed for the worst Mama, everything is so wrong. Lots of demonstrating, the cost of living is beyond affordable, if the shops are not closed, it’s the taxis on strike or there is 24 hours load shedding or something even worse…We need your Prayers even more.
And it is also another year without you my Meri; do you still pray for me and your bu other children? We are lost without your prayers, we are not anything without the Lord’s love and Favor…you know it all mama.  I treasure every memory I hold of you.  I know time does pass but you are always with me.  The ideas you held, the values you instilled in us and the examples you set. You are always with me my mama! All our love to everyone else. We love and miss you much . . . Muaah! Till I write again. Mama, please nudge God for meJ xo
